I had no expectations and remained very happy!
We had a two-hour transition in juneau, so we thought to go to lunch somewhere. it took about ten minutes to go there, but it was worth it. the bacon empanada was phenomenal. I suppose it's a new element because it wasn't on the menu, but it'll probably be soon. I also had the chicken stew thing and that was so tasteful and delicious. I'll be back next time.
This is an interesting and good little restaurant. interesting because of the Peruvian dishes on the menu. not so many Peruvian resturanten in alaska. good because the food is very delicious. the steak and pasta. both were far above average. also tried some bores out of another and they were perfect. the personal was also very attentive. this place is a hidden gem.
I always look for something different from burger or pizza. in juniau, in winter, the options are slim, but in was pleasantly surprised to find a Peruvian restaurant! I had the saltado that he was fabulous. the fries with the rice were strange, but so they do it and it was good! I'll eat here again when I'm in town.
The service was amazing, and the food was unexpectedly delicious. The bacon empanada is to die for! I didn't experience anything here I didn't like. Perfect! Exactly what I want when I dine in.
