Jersey Mike's Subs - Johnstown

A few days ago, we stopped at Jersey Mike 's because we were in the area and needed something to eat. I 've never been to Jersey Mike 's and it 's been several years since my spouse has been too. I found the ordering process to be confusing 'cause it said every sub came with a list of ingredients but when I said that I didn 't want some things I was looked at funny and asked what I did want. I ended up just getting mayo and tomato because I thought the only toppings that were available were the ones visible on the counter. Turns out there 's more things in drawers but if you 're not familiar with how this place operates you 'd have no clue since there 's no list of what choices are and, like I mentioned, some options aren 't in plain view. The food was okay. Spouse liked his more than I did 'cause he figured out the toppings system better than I did.

Staff was not very friendly. We ordered online for it to be made by 8:03 and showed up at 8:03 and the sandwich and bowl had so much vinegar and oil my bread was so soggy it was falling apart. There was a puddle of oil on the paper after picking up the sandwich. The bowl was filled with vinegar about 1/3 of the way. Both were ruined and so gross due to the excessive amount of oil and vinegar. FYI we only asked the regular amount.

Open till 9 apparently means once they put their chemicals on the grill they can 't make you a sandwich? 9 means we 're gonna start cleaning well before then and if you come in and inconvenience us well that 's just too bad. Love the franchise but will no longer patronize this location.

We stopped in here to grab a quick bite. Their sandwiches are delicious. I didn’t see it listed but the hubby and I got the Buffalo chicken and it was amazing! They could use some more seating and some light in the place but overall great experience.

It was okay service was well but The subs weren’t the best. My whole sandwich tasted like onions and I didn’t have any onion on my sandwich. I didn’t end up enjoying it and had to toss it in the trash.
