Lovely night out good portions of traditional Italian fare. Owner was great, and personally checked on everyone's meal. The ice cream and hot chocolate sauce was a winner!

The owner went out of his way to accommodate us with a personalised menu that we could eat and was suitable during our turn of having covid. This local restaurant made us feel cared for during that time. Awesome food!

Being from the North of Italy, it tends to be quite difficult to find quality Italian restaurants in South Africa but upon the arrival of the Focaccia I could tell that the experience would be good. The olive oil was fresh, the balsamic vinegar was most definitely good quality, and the main courses were immaculate. The Ravioli was cooked to perfection and the filling was definitely fresh, the sauce was delightfully creamy and was not overly rich, and the four seasons pizza that we ordered was not too oily like most places and presented itself as a quality dish. All in all, I believe that 5 stars is not a high enough rating for Satori family restaurant, as this restaurant has become one of my favourite restaurants in South Africa, never mind being limited to just Gauteng.

Satori Family Restaurant is honestly a perfect place to catch up with friends, have a lovely family meal or just to chill with someone after a long day at work. It feels like visiting an old family friend. The owner is warm and welcoming and the atmosphere is perfect!! But even better than all this is the FOOD!!! The pasta is the BEST IN JOZI!!! Do not take my word for it, go and pop in there yourself. You will keep on going back! Put this one on your bucket list to visit! You can thank me later.
