Not only is this the best vegetarian food I've ever had, it's the best Vietnamese food I've ever had. I am so looking forward to going there for lunch today!
Loved the papaya salad and greatly appreciated substitution of tofu for broccoli since I have a soy allergy. Also allergic to carrots so they kept those out. I had the mung bean crepe. It was fried with oil and would have much preferred a very light sauté to taste more of the beans and natural flavor. But all in all I recommend this place. I didn't find any ingredient that is not vegan and asked them. The previous owner did not know the meaning of vegan. It should be re-classified as vegan. Best to call ahead to order.
Food is amazing !! Love the people there , prices really weren't out of norm or anything. My ONLY complaint was about dining in, although the place is pretty clean, I really didn't want to touch the menus, and the surface of the tables were sticky. Just little things like that would've definitely made the dining in experience better. I'll definitely update this review when I come back , if things are different , could've just been a bad day/week.
My husband and I love this place! We order from here basically every week, it's so addictive! Our favorites are the chow mein, teriyaki chicken, house special, and the orange chicken. Definitely recommend giving them a try!
I am glad I found this restaurant! It 's so refreshing to find such a variety of vegan dishes under one roof! I 've ordered the Lo Mein, the Orange Chicken, the spring rolls, and Pho over a period of a couple months now (I wanted to try a variety of dishes before writing my review). They are all fantastic! I also love how quick the service is. It generally doesn 't take too long, so by the time get we to the restaurant it 's usually done, and fresh. I just noticed on their receipt they include when the dish was ordered and when it was completed. Thus far, every dish I 've had has fresh veggies, good meat replacements, and great flavor. The prices for the main entrees/dishes aren 't bad, either (the appetizers are a bit pricey, but they 're tasty. I forgot to mention I 've tried the buns, too, and man, they are good. I hate making steam buns, so it 's nice they have them as an option). I forgot to take pictures (translated, I was starving and too lazy to hunt down my phone), but the portion sizes are very generous. I was kinda shocked just how much lo mein I got the first time I ordered, and was able to get two meals out of it! That 's a deal, and I like how much seitan and other meat replacement they put in it! Love the location, the restaurant 's easy to find. We 've ordered from VanHahn on four different occasions, and have enjoyed it each time (even my partner, who is not vegan. He likes the pho, which is why I got it this time XD). This place has become on one of our neighborhood staples, and is on the rotation for when we want to order out. Love it! So glad they 're here, and triple glad it 's all vegan!!
