Get the chicken and waffles. Crowded and loud. You might not like it if you have Covid concerns or are hard of hearing. But the chicken and waffles work great for take out especially if you have an airfryer or toaster over to reheat if needed. My husband and I get 1 waffle with 2 pieces of chicken. Shrimp and grits were great. But too cheesy if you're looking for traditional southern grits.

Amazing take on Southern food! Everything we got was delicious. Fried chicken was so crispy and had the perfect amount of breading.

The new screen door is beautiful. They did an excellent job with the decor. My wife and I went for dinner, highly recommend. Although their breakfast is BOMB. I got the Ribeye with risotto and chanterelle mushrooms. The steak was cooked just right. I highly recommend getting one of their Old Fashions. Only picture I got was the desert, pecan pie with a bourbon whipped cream.

Delicious!!! Like almost every restaurant in Portland, it took a half an hour to get a table, but it’s worth the wait. A bit too crowded, but the vibe is great and food is delicious!!

Screen Door is definitely one of those places where the wait is totally worth it! I've been here a few times, ordered online and it's always, absolutely always, high quality food and service!
