Famous Matt's BBQ on Mississippi. Guy Fieri was there! Pulled pork for the hubby. Excellent!

Order ahead or at the kiosk because you’ll wait forever and then give up like we did trying to order to pay with cash. Ribs weren’t very meaty but had good flavor. Pulled pork was neutral by itself. Queso Mac has more spice so my kids deleted it too spicy, I thought it was ok but I wouldn’t choose to get it again. The pinto beans were my favorite. It’s in the same spot as some other food trucks so it’s a busy area.

I enjoyed my lunch at Matt's BBQ and the service was so fast. The Brisket was flavorful and juicy and I love the portion size. The Pickled Onions and Pickle Slices were a great compliment to the meat. The Queso Mac N Cheese was tasty and the Noodles were cooked perfectly. I can't wait to try the Ribs which sell out quickly.

This is a far cry from authentic Texas BBQ. Sure, it’s certainly not bad, but reminiscent of Texas it is not.

So tender and tasty. My new favorite. Update to my review a year ago: This is the tastiest rib place in portland. I moved a little further away and tried a bunch of other places (reverends, pine shed, bottos, dickeys, famous daves). Matts BBQ is the top that all other BBQ places are measured. I can't eat bad BBQ anymore. Matt's is that good.
