The fish itself was so big I had to cut it into 3rds and was far from fresh. While the service was nice, that is not anything close to decent sushi.
Food was excellent. Service was wonderful. Highly recommend this restaurant. A bit pricey.. but worth the splurge.
Between my husband and I, we have 30 years food service experience, so it was wonderful to find such a knowledgeable server, this really sets the stage for a first time experience. not from this area) I wanted the fried talapia w garlic mashed potatoes, but bc of a food alergy, I asked to substitute mashed potatoes for french fries cant eat dairy). The server, Janelle, was exceptionally knowledgeable and said due to the fat content of the fish, fried potatoes ff) would not compliment the tilapia, and suggested a Swai fish sandwich that was comparable in price, and would pair better. I tried it and she was right, it was fantastic. Prices were reasonable 12.95 for each of us, 2.50 for tea. A most lovely evening. Again, Janelle had the knowledge, professionalism, and experience helping make our night a success. The food was very good and restaurant looked clean. Music a tad too loud for quiet dinner conversation, but other than that, really good food.
Very professional and fast service. Dressings , sauces and crab Rangoons are made from scratch/in house. Awesome food choices for any type of cuisine not only Asian, sushi, American, etc. there is a variety of entrees to fulfill your craving.
The bathroom smelled like the sewer it is hopefully attached to and that's always a good sign to run but my daughter was eager to dine there so off to the appetizer!! Have you ever had a really good crab cake? Treasure that memory because you won't here. If a crab would crawl across a Twinkie and defecate it would probably taste better. My daughter's crab legs were quite good but for 45 dollars a tool to crack them would've been nice instead of her fingers, teeth and one napkin she was provided. I chose the jumbo shrimp boil. The sausage was the best part of the mix after the chewy umbilical ends were separated from the organ. The corn was tasteless so I asked for salt and pepper to spice up what i suspected was field corn which was delivered in teeny packets but with lack of napkins, it was a sodden mess. When I finally waved the waitress down for the check she asked if I wanted a to go box but I like my pets too much to insult them with that mess. That's a hundred dollar mistake I'll not make again.
