The Happy Grilled Cheese - Jacksonville

I was so busy enjoying the food that I forgot to take pictures! However, I’ll definitely be back soon to update this post with some photos! The combinations they’ve created to elevate grilled cheese are astonishing. I never would have imagined, as a kid eating Kraft American slices on white bread, that grilled cheese could be so gourmet! I tried a special that had turkey, apples, sauerkraut, and goat cheese, which was delicious. I also had their Parmesan fries, which weren't my favorite, but the seasonal wine cocktail I ordered was fantastic! Overall, a great experience.

You know what to expect with a Grilled Cheese sandwich, so getting the textures just right is essential. They excel in that aspect here. The toast consistently has the perfect crunch. Every sandwich I've tried allows you to appreciate all the ingredients—they don't get lost in the mix. The location is compact, but it’s well-maintained and looks great. Most importantly, the service is excellent. I've never had a moment where I didn't feel welcomed. And their parmesan fries are fantastic; they really know how to make fries that are crispy, not soggy, with just the right amount of crunch.

I had an amazing grilled cheese sandwich paired with their delicious homemade tomato soup for dipping. The menu offers plenty of options, and there’s a great selection of beer, sangria, and more to enjoy during your visit. The prices are quite reasonable too. I highly recommend stopping by to give it a try!

Absolutely delicious. Every sandwich I have ever got from here exceeded my expectations. The prices are on the higher end but very much worth it!
