Bazille – Nordstrom St. John Town Center

Haven't eaten here since before Covid. How sad, this use to be such a popular spot, always packed. We made reservations for 2, arrived 15 minutes early and were shocked only 4 tables occupied. We were seated immediately, our waiter was very prompt polite. My husband had the special the sirloin sandwich crab soup, which he was very pleased; and I had the chicken tacos salad. Very unusual ground chicken but well seasoned.

We go here quite often. The food is consistently excellent, the service outstanding, and it is quiet enough to have conversation. We were only one of three groups in this evening. This is an overlooked GEM of a dining experience.

Really bad experience and that's probably why the place was empty. Ordered a wine and they brought a totally different wine and just assumed we wouldn't notice. They were out of pretty much every wine we wanted. Burger was so bloody we had to send it back. Staff were just not enthused to be there and it showed. I won't be going back.

Was 2x's bad now and will not come back. Came in Mother's Day, food never even arrived for part of the table and never collected. Gave it another shot today since my mother wanted to go. Horrible food. Calamari tasted like it was fried in a vat of year old oil and chewy beyond. We decided to not stay for a full meal and went across the street to actually get something worth eating. Then our bill came for 1 appetizer and a glass of wine for $30+. The server never asked me what size of wine I wanted and automatically charged me $20 for wine without asking. Then left the restaurant for. Break telling us he'd be back after. While. Will not go back again. Poor

This restaurant has really gone downhill. The breakfast portions are small and served cold. The staff seems uninterested in providing good service. I would recommend looking for another place to eat.
