Intermade Brasserie - Isneauville

Dropped in after 11 hours of stressful driving - heavy traffic, hour long jams, serious crashes (not involving us!). Needed some veggie food before hitting the road again. Served quickly with a massive salad bowl including warmed French cheese on bread. Very tasty! The main guy (sorry, can't remember your name) was very helpful - with the food & with other things pertaining to our ongoing travels. Many thanks!Oh, rounding things off nicely was the fact that there was guy playing a variety of covers, including Neil Young!! Brilliant. "Rock'n'roll man!"

Great pizza Good amount of toppings and a nice crust, especially when reheated the next day The 15 for 30$ is a deal worth taking advantage of.

We travelled from the dordogne and stayed just north of Rouen in Isneauville, right next to the motorway ready for the final leg of our journey. We came across an intermarche and right next to the store was the intermade brasserie. Usually we would not eat dinner in what appears to be a supermarket cafe, but this certainly is not the case. It's independent and I think, not part of the intermarche? The owner spoke perfect English, was extremely helpful and could not be more welcoming. The menu was vast, Fridays I believe was Mexican night, but I opted for the burger (there were at least 12 variants to choose from). All home made, even the brioche bun. I can safely say its one of the best I've had. The restaurant is kid friendly and very clean indeed. If you're looking for a stopover for the drive onto Calais, then I highly recommend the village and definitely this restaurant...10/10!

When we stayed at the Ibis Budget hotel we went to look for somewhere to have dinner. I have to say we could not find much open but we came across this little Bistro/Cafe which was attached to the local supermarket and thank goodness we did! The manager and staff were so helpful, the manager could speak perfect English which really helped as we had to explain about food allergies that my friends son has. He adapted the meals so that we could have what we required, I took my infants food with me and he heated that up for us also, the food was all home cooked including the bread, it was lovely and at a very reasonable price. We returned for breakfast the next day and again he did everything he could for us to even include baked beans that we brought with us. The only downside was that on our return journey the bistro was to be closed for a private function but we did go and check and he provided the name of another restaurant which was close by. I can't stress enough how welcoming and helpful he was. Thank you
