The Fig Tree - Islington

The lady who served us, I think her name is Pat, was really amazing. The food was great, quite warm environment and nice music.

Wow wow..... the food menu is certainly one to go back for. The fact that the menu is literally 1 A4 page means that everything is freshly cooked. We had Nduja Burger, The Unruly Burger and 28 Day Aged Flat Iron Steak.......amazing. Hopefully the new management will put The Fig Tree back on the map so to say. We'll done

The pub is very spacious and very clean. Well maintained. Food was looking so tasty and was very good. Good selection of beer and staff was so friendly. Recommend

Came here for my work Xmas meal and it was not good. At all. I shall summarise as follows: Ordering There were around 15 of us. We ordered in advance but had to go up and tell them what we had ordered one at a time, so what was the point in ordering in advance I wonder? This was very time consuming. Staff the staff, while competent, looked so so so miserable, like this was the last place on earth they wanted to be. This did not go unnoticed by all of my colleagues. In fact I think we spent most of the night talking about how miserable and fed up the staff looked. Service while delivering drinks at the bar was relatively quick the food took ages to come out and everyone got served at different times. They were bringing out just one meal at a time. Some of us had finished by the time others got their food. Food was cold. I would have sent back if I was not in such a large group and I actually believed it would be sorted in a timely manner. Several colleagues also commented on their food being cold. Overall, a thoroughly disappointing experience. Needless to say, we will not be returning next year.

Fantastic atmosphere and customer service, bar staff and management are second to none…especially the guvnor Bliss! Really recommend a visit!
