Contribuiți la feedbackIt doesn't matter to me that vegetarians eat, but I get a little nervous with VEGAN seats. “What can I not put a little feta on my salad?” “Huh, no butter on my bread?” But there were three reasons why I came to Veggie Grill; 1 A Veggie Grill employee stands out with a tray of sweet potato fries with their Chipotle Ranch diving sauce (remember, no buttermilk allowed! and their pommes are quite addictive. 2 There were several positive records and 3 His “epicurious”, I had to give him a vertebrae. The decor is eco-minimal with open ceilings and a utilitarian operation. There was really no place in the restaurant where I could look confused in the private menu. I keep reading the menu elements and descriptions like Carne Asada and Santé Fe Crispy Chickin’ and reminded me that there is no ‘carne’ here I would day with my daughter as I thought I would order items where I would not miss the meat, like the soup of the day Tomato Basilikum and the Baja Fiesta Salad and I “suggested” that they order Bayou Chick. The staff was particularly friendly. Place your order, pick up your own drinks, and take a seat like The Corner Bakery or Daphnes Greek Café. The unsweetened teas are wonderful as the lemonade. I felt really good that they were not made with refined sugar. The tables are a little too small, because the plates they bring out are full-format plates. When we finally came to dinner, the soup was good (if it had cream... I'm sorry, I'm not used to vegan lifestyle. I loved the Sesame Warps that were taken up with the soup. I enjoy the salad served with Quinoa, a grain I rarely see in omnivore restaurants. My daughter's Bayou Chickin sandwich was actually better than my soup and salad. Was it better than a real chicken sandwich? Maybe. It was just as delicious, but lighter; I wanted more than a few bites. My daughter said she felt really good after she had eaten it, not overly filled. The carrot cake was one of the best carrot cakes I ever tasted, and I make a middle carrot cake, but again this was lighter and very humid. I am thrilled to have a good vegan choice near us, as I would like to integrate this into my restaurant rotation.
