Cafe Central - Innsbruck

Delicious food and perfect seating for people. The menu is a nice change from the heavy traditional food we had eaten for a while - the chicken plate was fantastic and the salad was so fresh and yet filled enough. The service was great and attentive.

We have been here for several years, regular place for brunch, English breakfast is only getting better (crispier bacon) and the softly cooked eggs were soft as expected. Can never go wrong with her star bag, the Brioche Kipferl.

We arrived after a long journey from the Netherlands with many traffic jams at the Hotel-Cafe Central. The lady at the reception obviously didn't like a job here because she was very unwilling. On the question where our reserved half board diner was served, she snapped: “You are late, kitchen closes at 19:00!!!” Okay, it was 19:10 but no effort to make us welcome whatever, no excuses, no alternative suggestions, just the feeling we were really annoying them. I mean, early, Saturday night 19:00? Which hotel closes its kitchen at this time in the middle of the old town of Innsbruck? The rooms were clean, although terrible loud, breakfast was nice, but really not back in a hurry. Understood. I don't write many reviews unless it's really good or really bad. Unfortunately in this case it was the Lather.

We regularly go to this cafe when we were in Innsbruck, unfortunately on this visit we were overloaded, € 4.20 for a bottle of water that we did not order or receive added, we asked for the bill, the lady just told us the amount we were paying, it seemed higher than expected, but since we rushed to catch a train we just paid, they printed a receipt that I picked up and saw on the train that I received, and

The caffeine has a pleasant flair. the selection is good, the prices in order, the service also. the torte has tastefully not so enthusiastic, but may have to taste herrentorte, so
