The Ole Barn - Inlet

The restaurant could use some tender loving care, but I absolutely adore it.

Sad. This place was always great; my husband and I stopped in for the first time in about 10 years for dinner . Everything was frozen and reheated. The burger was straight moooooshy. Oh, and when he asked for the burger to be cooked medium she responded, it only comes one way, mediumish and then it came out fully grey through the middle lol okay then.... Awful just awful food.

Look, You get what you got here. Is the food basic? Yes Is it overpriced? 13.00$ cheeseburger and 25 cents for each lettuce tomato and onion lol? Yes But does it hit the spot after a nice cruise on the snowmobile trail???? Big yes, and why should they stray from what works? There's nothing closer off the snowmobile trail in that area. Now I'm not gunna say this is a culinary masterpiece. But accept where your at and the fact that you could be without. The bartender has always been polite and nice and that's all I need on these winter days. So take my card , run it and get back on the trail

This restaurant is not recommended for those who enjoy high-quality food. Despite its rustic and old-timey atmosphere, the overall dining experience was disappointing. The wings were undercooked and the beer selection was poor. The burger had an unpleasant taste and the house special lasagna was unappetizing. The prices were high for the low-quality food we received. Overall, it was a disappointing culinary experience and not worth a visit.

This review is a bit different than the average reviews for the Ole Barn. We went to the Adirondacks for Thanksgiving and had our Thanksgiving Dinner here. The restaurant itself is really cool, very North Woods style with a lot of character. The Thanksgiving Meal was delicious and everything was cooked to perfection. Overall I can 't speak for the every day experience here but for our special trip to the Ole Barn it was very enjoyable.
