Contribuiți la feedbackThis Michelin starred restaurant is freestanding on a busy street in an off the beaten path area of the Los Angeles basin. A local recommended we detour from LAX and we were glad we did. .we discovered authentic Mexican seafood that brought back memories of coastal Baha California in my early twenties. We shared a number of dishes and all were delicious. We sat al fresco on the back patio which offered a laid back atmosphere. The staff were congenial and helpful. You may want to make the trip to Coni too. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
They had a nice touch by offering free chips and salsa, which was a pleasant surprise opening our to-go bag. The highlight of the visit was the Aguachile plate, which was absolutely amazing. It had a delightful spicy kick, and the sauce was simply delicious. However, one downside was the slow service. It took around 10 minutes for the hostess to even acknowledge our presence, and we were placing a to-go order. Fortunately, once the order was placed, it came out relatively fast, within about 7 minutes. A noteworthy observation was that the party of 3 who had been there before us seemed to have encountered slow service as well, as they hadn't even had their order taken by the time we left. Parking proved to be a challenge, with only 3 spots in the front of the restaurant. Despite the service hiccups and parking limitations, Coni'Seafood's Aguachile plate certainly stands out as a must-try for seafood enthusiasts.
