Tilly's Tea Room - Indianapolis

Love going to Tilly's with girlfriends for an elegant afternoon filled with tea and treats!

Wonderful experience. Loved the tea room and the food was very good.

I almost fell into the American mindset of thinking that the prices were too high for the portion sizes based on other reviews, but I'm glad I stuck to my understanding of tea etiquette. In short, I found that the servings were actually more than enough. Everything was small and bite-sized so you could enjoy it without making a mess, but each item was layered and flavorful, leaving you feeling satisfied. They offer free refills on pots of tea, and as self-proclaimed tea connoisseurs, we were impressed by the quality of the tea brands and companies they served. They prioritize loose leaf tea over tea bags and focus on quality over quantity. For fellow tea enthusiasts, this place serves excellent tea. My mother and I particularly enjoyed the salmon and capers tea sandwiches, peach and cream scones, and white chocolate cream cup, all paired with traditional English Breakfast tea. My mother chose Rooibos Chocolate tea, which complemented the desserts perfectly, while my English Breakfast tea went well with our sandwiches. Splitting the bill in half (and not including the items we bought to take home), it was very affordable. We didn't eat beforehand and only had a small snack for dinner later. It was a truly enjoyable experience all around, and we will definitely be returning.

My friend and I have been wanting to go and have tea for some time. The ambiance, drinks, food, and tea were excellent! I would highly recommend going and enjoying an afternoon tea!

We celebrated a birthday with an English tea. There were not many around so we had the pleasure of catching up with each other without having to shout! Our server was one of the best I have encountered in Indianapolis, and so pleasant. There is a wide choice of teas, so we each chose one of the more unusual options. There was just the right amount of sandwiches, scones with cream and jam and little cakes. It's a very pleasant place to while away an afternoon.
