El Toro Mexican Restauran - Idaho

This is NOT El Toro any more. It is R Pizza. R Pizza is amazing! The pizza and bread sticks came out very fast. Perfectly cooked! Our server was fast and friendly. The building itself is old and smells musty inside. But that did not effect the way our food tasted.

Food is ok. They were out of some of the basic menu items which was surprising.

We ate here as a pit stop on our drive from SLC to Jackson, WY. There was only one other table seated when we arrived. Food was overall not bad, better than I had expected, I wasn't expecting gourmet. Typical Mexican restaurant with really big portion sizes. My dad asked for Guac that wasn't on the menu and they brought him some, so he was happy. We are vegans/vegetarians and the menu didn't offer any plates that were listed as vegetarian. We ended up ordering the fajitas without any meat and it was more than enough food.

Great authentic Mexican food! Our hostess was a one woman army! She was taking orders, getting out drinks and getting everyone seated! All by herself and it wouldn't surprise me if she cooked too! She waited on every table! I got the camarones a la diabla, my wife got the flautas, my friends got the burritos and fajitas All of it was great! So please be patient with them, the wait wasn't crazy long but the food was worth waiting. Especially when they are short staffed and manage to keep track of everything and still be super nice.
