Contribuiți la feedbackWhen The Catch first opened they were great. I don?t know if there has been a management change, or if the place sold to another individual. Anyway, the level of service and quality of the food has spiraled downward. This evening, when we placedour order for gumbo we were told they were out. After making other food choices, we paid and were given our styrofoam cups;one of which had a finger sized hole in the bottom of it and it wasn?t discovered until going to the soda station to get tea. They were out of tea sweet or otherwise. I?m sure the hole was punched through the cup by an employee and then placed backinto the stack. The restaurant was smelly, and the floors were sticky and dirty. Staff really not concerned that their primaryobjective of good food, good service and attentiveness was not met. They really had a good thing going. Sadly It?s doubtfulthat I?ll be back?..
Great place to get good fried fish and shrimps. They had free margaritas when we went and they were delicious aside from the mouthwatering platers of seafood. We ordered the fried pickles on a separate occasion but this time we ate at the restaurant andthey were much better fresh. Highly recommend this place. ????
I ordered the whitefish, shrimp, hush puppies, corn and potatoes, and garlic bread. Each meal comes with a complimentary margarita. The menu is fantastic, offering options like snow crab legs, catfish, crawfish, coleslaw, green beans, banana pudding, and much more. Plus, there's music playing in the background, which is a nice touch.
1. The floors, tables, and condiment bottles were all sticky—everything felt unpleasantly tacky. It got to the point where I had to wash my arms and hands after leaving. 2. The sweet tea was disappointing, and it seemed like it has been that way for a while. 3. The food itself was bland, which was surprising since I've never encountered this issue before. I was genuinely shocked by the decline in quality. I’m not sure what caused this sudden drop, but I hope it's addressed soon. I used to really enjoy dining here.
I ordered the Cajun platter while my wife opted for the Catch Boil, which came with a side of hush puppies. First and foremost, the food was outstanding—packed with flavor and served in generous portions. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, which included two catfish filets, grilled sausage, red beans and rice, and shrimp. It was so filling that I had to roll out of there! My wife also had a lot left over; she took home half of her crab legs and nearly half of her shrimp. I was truly impressed by the food! I noticed they have a location in North Texas, so I'm excited to try one closer to home soon!
