Walker St.-Houston Marriott Marquis

We unfortunately forgot our server's name, but she provided excellent service! The food at the Marriott Hotel buffet was average and did not justify the high price. We were expecting higher quality dishes considering the upscale nature of the hotel.

Went for breakfast and overall food was good. To note though I made a reservation through OpenTable, confirmed the reservation the day before and was in the system when I arrived but was told by the hostess they do not take reservations. The place was empty so they were able to seat my party but I would suggest calling to ensure your reservation is in fact being taken.

The hostess and our wait staff were very friendly, attentive, and responsive. We always eat here when we stay at the Marquis!

Wasn’t aware that the restaurant was no longer accepting reservations from Open Table. They accommodated us and were aware we booked online. Only option was buffet. Disappointed in that but the cook to order inlet station was amazing!

I met a colleague for breakfast at this restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. It's a convenient option for a quick bite before or after a conference at the GRB Convention Center.
