Subway - Houston

There are only two places to get coffee at the airport before passing through security. One is closed off, and the other, Subway, is unfortunately not offering coffee.

I had a frustrating experience at this restaurant. They were supposed to open at 5:00 PM, and I understand that delays can happen, especially with an early schedule. However, considering it's located in an airport, many travelers had been waiting since 3:30 PM and were hungry. The staff didn’t clock in until 4:00 PM, and by the time I left at 5:45 PM, they still weren’t open. I also had to pay for parking for no reason. Overall, I appreciate the display of inefficiency, and I ended up having an empty and unproductive day.

Landside at IAH. I stepped out of the secure area to grab a sandwich, only to find out they closed 30 minutes early because they had run out of bread. How does a sandwich shop run out of bread?

I visited this location today at 7:21pm. They stated that they were closed. When I inquired about there closing time they stated that they close at 7:30pm. I stated the time and both workers were confused. The official Subway website states 8:00pm. Beware that their closing times are inconsistent and do not match their website or employees vocal time.

Almost not worth it. I had to tell the employee to change his gloves after I told him that a piece of chicken teriyaki had fallen into another bin. Being a former employee of a subway, I thought it would have been common sense. There was no care in how my order was put together. The lobby was a bit messy, and the employees were not wearing their masks properly if barely or at all.I could have told them how to improve but its not my place. While one person is handling the customer(s) the other could be cleaning and doing dishes. This could just be me having to always having to literally work alone.
