The best was the baked bbq bun, but unfortunately they ran out when we placed an order again for it.The rest was just okay. I found most of their food a little blend and not as flavorful. The service was good. There's just one lady managing all the tables, and the place was quite packed.Coming from Malaysia, we have huge expectations on dim sum so many may like it but for us the flavor just wasn't what we were used to.
This hidden gem of a dim sum restaurant is located in a corner inside the complex that houses HMart. Shanghai restaurant offers all day dim sum with fast service and delicious food. Our favorites include the thick and hearty turnip cakes, perfectly pan-fried, and the adorable yellow, pig-shaped egg custard buns. We tried 7-8 items from the dim sum menu and everything was excellent. There was no wait for dim sum on a Sunday and we will definitely be returning for more dining experiences in the future.
I feel so fortunate to have stumbled upon this unique Chinese festival celebration at the restaurant!!! The owner clearly puts their heart and soul into this small but charming business. The food is absolutely delicious, making you feel like you're dining in Guangdong, China or Texas, USA. I highly recommend this place!
How lucky I am to catch up on such a special Chinese Festival show!!! You can find the owner does put full of him/ her love in this little but cute business. And, the food tastes so good that you would wonder if you're traveling in Guangdong, China, or Texas, the USA. Highly recommend it!!!
Overall, the food was decent and fresh, but the service was a major disappointment. Our waitress/host was very rude, answering questions as she walked away. I don't plan on returning.
