Cafe Red Onion NW - Houston

The food is excellent at this cozy, family-owned restaurant. The owners treat you like part of the family. I brought my in-laws and they thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

The meat was overcooked, the plantains were burnt, and it was clear that the red beans were reheated. The arepa was extremely stale, making a crunching sound as we tried to bite into it.

This small, hidden gem restaurant located in Northwest Houston is truly exceptional. The seasoning and flavors are on par with some of the best Colombian restaurants in the city.
