Sam's Southern Eatery - Houma

Our 2nd time here, I was so impressed Manel remembered I squeeze lemon into my sweet tea, so she brings a lil bowl full of lemon slices. The food is so GOOD! Cooked fresh and served hot. It's my go to place for comfort food. Try it you will not regret it.

Ate here for the first time today. Got the 20ct jumbo shrimp and fried chicken liver for my family of 3. The food was served fast, fresh, and seasoned very well. I'll admit I was a little intimidated by the menu and didn't think it would be much food. Man was I wrong!! You get very LARGE portions for a GREAT price. Can't wait to return and try something else.

Big portions, high quality food with good price, love exthe fried shrimp and chicken wings, next time I will be in Louisiana, you guys definitely will be on my visits list

Ordered liver gizzard dinner for me, fish oysters onion loops for the boss, it was AWESOME we could have fed 2 more people; ...we will be back.. the Philly Steak looks good too..

Stopped in last night,. Food was great. Everything was hot and didn't take long at all. Very accommodating to my 19 month old also. Highly recommended will be back!
