Mühlenstube Lauterbach/ Schwarzwald

Very nice quiet location, rooms without a squirt and very clean and very tasty dinner in a family atmosphere. I was particularly impressed by the hospitality, cordiality, and helpfulness of the owners. I like to come back!

A few days ago, we were here for dinner for six. We had no reservations. The restaurant is not exactly large, we only got a table in the adjoining room on request, which one apparently did not want to use, although other tables were used in the room. The food selection was very extensive for such a small restaurant, so everyone found something suitable. The portion sizes were suitable and the prices were reasonable (not overpriced as with some other restaurants in the area). So good. The dishes were unfortunately only partly lukewarm to cold. The Rumpsteak was only lukewarm when it came to me, but it was just as acceptable as at least the cooking point matched. The SoSchweinelende just lukewarm and the sauce almost cold, which we had complained; the plate was taken again and came back after a few minutes with the hint that he would be hot now, but not the case, since there was almost no difference. A few minutes later, the operation asked again whether everything would be OK now, what we agreed, whereupon it reacted with misunderstanding and without any further reaction. I'm sorry. If the plates were preheated, what should be standard, nothing would have been complained at all. The restaurant facility has also come very many years and could renew it. Since the other dishes have tasted warm enough and all dishes well, still well-meaned 3 stars.

Family youngest is very hospitable and takes care of the welfare of their guests. The rooms were bright and friendly. We didn't miss anything. We can highly recommend the Mühlenstube and are happy to come back!

I liked it very well here: it is not very modern, but all the more original and family. The rooms were very nice, clean and large enough. The hostels were very friendly, breakfast (although I was the only guest offered a wide selection, but without being wasted and the price was more than fair. It is a pity that the kitchen is not in operation in the cold season due to the low number of guests (permanently not in operation). In any case, I am happy to return:

Nice, small, owner run hotel. Simple rooms, not so modern, but due to the age of the building, but I just want to sleep here. Class food selection à la Card. Rich and good portions. Breakfast buffet has everything the heart desires. Fair prices, nice staff (Inhaber family)
