Dining here is consistently wonderful. It’s a locally owned family restaurant that feels warm and inviting. The servers are friendly and attentive. I’ve been coming here for 18 years, and the newly renovated facilities make a great first impression. It's perfect for a casual meal or drinks, whether you want to meet up with friends or just relax. While the prices are slightly higher compared to similar eateries, I understand that in a small town like this, it’s a necessary strategy for survival post-COVID.

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant! The service was outstanding, and the handmade food was absolutely delicious. The decor features some humorous folk art, which added a fun vibe to the atmosphere. There's also a charming gift shop that's worth checking out. It's reminiscent of Barrel, but a bit sweeter. The buyer for this place truly knows how to select great items! I tried the signed steak, which I wished I had ordered hot, as it turned out to be pretty tough when cooked medium. The fried cream corn was a delightful twist on a classic dish. The bread accompanying the roast chicken steak was fresh and unique. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal. Make sure to stop by!

I had my first experience at this restaurant while celebrating my jubilee. I tried the mushroom appetizer, which was delightful. The medium-rare ribeye was beautifully cooked, and it came with a delicious cheese enchilada smothered in chili. The liver and wobbles were prepared just to my liking. Don’t miss their mac and cheese! They offer a fantastic salad selection, along with an excellent variety of wines and beers. This well-run restaurant truly knows how to impress!

Last night, since I heard of the return of the salatbar. I was a little disappointed because they don't have an egg for the salate that is my favorite. I also had a chicken fried steak with tweebel rings, which was good. I went to lunch today in the hope that there was a salat. Today there was a rush! I had the fried catfish with mash with brown dig. service was good. I had to wait for the host so I could sit down. it seems as if the host has too many work places besides sitting places, which could be somewhat frustrating for customers. over all beautiful places to lunch.

I didn't expect to find such a great restaurant out in the middle of nowhere, Texas. It seemed like the bar area was a little bit more modern than the rest of the restaurant. I wish the weather had been warmer because the outside area looked very inviting. The food was excellent albeit a little pricey. We had a brand new waitress but she was still incredible. If I'm ever in this area again I will stop here for a steak dinner.
