The Funky Mexican Cantina

My boyfriend and I came to the Funky Mexican Cantina on Friday night for dinner, the restaurant was very busy but we booked ahead and were seated at our booth. The waitress we had was great, she explained the menu and told us how to get her attention. We shared the jalapeño poppers and a family platter. The jalapeño poppers were fantastic and the quesadillas on the platter were my favorite. The calamari was not stringy and tasted great and the chicken taquitos were tasty. All in all the meal was great! And service wonderful. You even get free chips and salsa while you decide on your meals.

We have been here for many times and we love this place very much and it's best Mexican restaurant we never have. The food presentation from main meal to coffee to dessert are very good and so yummy and not expensive also the staff are so friendly. Very highly recommend

Great service and the staff are lovely. I had the nachos with chilli beef and was really happy with it. However other people I was with said their meals lacked flavour. All in all good priced Mexican food.

Staff are unbelievably friendly! Best part is they allowed us to have our doggy with us outside and even offered her a water dish on a hot day. Complimentary nachos for nibbles, prices are very decent and a good variety of dishes on the menu. The harbour view makes it a really nice place to visit. Great cocktail list too
