Chicago Marriott Northwest

I was put up in room 721. When I returned to the room in the evening I noticed the bathroom was used and completely dirtied in my absence. The manager was called however he didn’t care and just said “we don’t know”. There is a camera right outside the room door and I insisted they check the footage. It’s been 4 days now and the hotel management has not cared to follow up. Avoid this property if you value the safety of your belongings

The bartender Jose is great !!!! However worst Marriott I have ever stayed at !! The bar has zero wine it’s a Thursday night tried to order a beer they were also out of that ! How are you going into the weekend and out of wine in a bar ? I have watched 6 people try to get a glass and the bartenders are polite in letting everyone know they apologize but they are out !! As I’m typing this a guy orders a **** Mary lol guess what they are out of mix !!! Not to mention I have been here for 13 days now and a pair of shoes came up missing out of my room today !!! I feel sorry fir the bartenders they are great it’s not their fault however it hurts their tips when they can’t serve people !! Good help is hard to find I guess I just think employers need to value the people they have and help them in making sure customers are taken care of …. Very disappointed in this Marriott !!

Intended a brotherhood installed over the weekend and was quite surprised with the reviews against our actual experience. pros: the sales staff withzia was very courteous and professional. the bankett guy, jaime was on his game, on the group all and then. oscar the maintenance man has checked us and made sure that the temperature is good because it was almost 100 degrees on this Saturday. the lady working in the bar was attentive. the room is well maintained, would need some furniture and decor updates. cons: outdated, restaurant is closed, but the service and room in which we were was quite impressive. that covers the outdated problem.

This is a terrible hotel for service. the shuttle that was supposed to pick up my wife and children lasted 2 hours. Once it was finally there, it was the last run that lasts only 11 out of 18 pass. every time we called the hotel during the two hours, they would just lie to us and say that the shuttle is almost there. When I finally talked to the manager, she then lied about the shuttle. her answer was “take a taxi”. the taxi was over $90. when I called back after the shuttle, had no room, nobody answered in the hotel. I called a dozen times. as a platinum elite member, I would expect a better service from marriott. I'm coming from marriott to helpton. Say goodbye to 50 nights in the year marriott!
