Contribuiți la feedbackOn Monday evening with an open table reservation, from which they were completely unconscious, so that were not credited for my food points. not generous, but annoying. the place was empty except a few people at the bar. one of us ordered a glass of syrah that was clearly bad. probably a bottle that has been opened and inappropriately stored for days. the bartender opened a new bottle and replaced the glass. the eating was on average too terrible. Two of us had chicken manases. the huh had been robbed of the size of a personal pizza, seriously overcooked and so tough it needed a steak knife to see through them. the salate portion above was more like a garnish. the evening dinners of our other companions were better, but in the average. only one dessert was available and no Decaf coffee. Although the bartender offered a cheerful service, it was a less than stellar culinary experience. we have chosen victor for his closeness to the path station. next time we go on.
They were unaware of our reservation (for 12 people), which may not have been their fault. The waitress was not very friendly in the beginning (she warmed up towards the end of our meal), and two of our meals came out EXTREMELY late (everyone else was finished eating by the time they arrived), and they did not offer to take them off the bill. Food was OK. I won't go into details about that. We won't be back.
Group of friends and I went for a Sunday brunch. was able to spend the night before, and she accommodated us perfectly. Brunch menu was solid, diverse and inexpensive. Also - we ordered Bud Light bucket and it was at a reasonable price. Crowd fluctuated, but I enjoyed the fact that we were all together and able to reverse with ease. Come on!
Unfortunately, the food was generally disappointing. Two of us had the chicken Milanese, which was the size of a personal pizza and shockingly overcooked to the point of needing a steak knife to cut through it. The salad served with it was barely more than a garnish. The meals of our other companions were better but still only average. There was only one dessert available, and no decaf coffee. Although the bartender provided cheerful service, overall, it was not a memorable culinary experience. We chose Victor due to its proximity to the PATH station, but next time we will look for a different option.
The food is outstanding, the service is exceptional, and the prices are quite reasonable. The atmosphere at the railway station is very comfortable. This is definitely my go-to spot in Hoboken.
