Aloft - Hobart

Highly recommended! This was my second visit to this restaurant and it certainly won't be my last. I thoroughly enjoyed the Vegan Degustation menu paired with some delicious wines and Sake. I was so engrossed in the food that I forgot to take photos of everything!

The location was great and the view was beautiful. We had a reservation and were sitting by a friendly waiter. We had the vegan tasting menu. Each dish was well presented and delicious. There was no court I didn't enjoy. The dessert was a highlight (Koconut Sorbet with berries, almonds and honeycombs). A beautiful place if you want something funny.

Amazing vegan tasting menu. Great service from very competent staff. Beautiful view and ambience. Very recommended. Is not cheap, but you get what you pay here: unbeatable vegan foods. Other dietary intolerances are happily surpassed.

We had the vegan tasting and it was amazing to every dish delicious and delicious. Suitable wines were interesting and detailed explained by waiting staff. The service was also exceptional. Great view to boating.

I am unable to give Aloft a full 5 stars as it is not a fully vegan restaurant, but I would if I could. Being a vegan and finding fine dining options can be very challenging, and I have not been able to enjoy a degustation experience since becoming vegan over 5 years ago. The service at Aloft was exceptional, and the staff made me feel welcome despite my dietary requirements. The food was outstanding, and the staff's knowledge of wine pairing was impressive. I will definitely be returning to Aloft next time I visit Hobart, as I am eager to try everything on their seasonal menu created by their talented chefs.
