Highlands Deli

Family was walking through Highlands and needed a place to eat. CJ took care of us and our food was great. Ordered the Reuben and it came out perfectly.Will definitely stop by again

We stopped by for sandwiches before our hike, and saw that the advertised opening time was noon. When we arrived at 11:55, I looked inside and noticed that no lights were on. A young man saw us and came to the door. However, before I could even speak, he rudely exclaimed, "It's going to be 12:30," and then literally slammed the door in my face. My wife and I were left in shock. We decided to go somewhere else.

I stopped by to grab some sandwiches for a hike, but had a disappointing experience. Their advertised opening time was noon, and when I arrived at 11:55, I looked through the window to see if anyone was inside since the lights were off. I didn't knock, but a younger man noticed me outside and came to the door. Before I could say anything, he rudely informed me that they wouldn't be opening until 12:30 and then slammed the door in my face. I can't comment on the food since we decided to go elsewhere.

I've been here twice, and it seems to get worse each time. The sandwiches are quite basic, yet they charge premium deli prices. For instance, I paid $5.50 for a simple peanut butter and jelly sandwich that barely had any jelly or peanut butter, and over $12 for a hoagie. Quite disappointing!

Hiked Whiteside Mountain, it was awesome!!Walked around downtown Highlands. Very enjoyable day!!
