The Devonshire Dome - High Peak

A beautiful building housing the Buxton gin festival this weekend. The acoustics were not so good but did not detract from the beauty of the Devonshire Dome

We all wanted the black forest pudding but the lady told us no we couldn't have it because the chefs didn't want to make it, appalling!

Wonderful venue .. Went for work function ..would be ideal for weddings etc Truly beautiful place Lots of history very light

I was here at th weekend for a wedding and I have to say what a fantastic venue, truest unbelievable.

Read about the Dome before we went. It is very light and spacious and you can get a very reasonable lunch in the café. The homemade soup was lovely. It is part of the university. Although originally it was built as a stables to hold up to 120 horses.
