For many years, scientists have debated what the best taco shop is in the greater High Desert area, and I'm here to provide the answer. Tacos Choix is a little hidden gem nestled next to a barber shop and a gas station. You might overlook it if you're walking by casually, which is a shame, as it offers some of the best tacos in town. The taco selection is impressive, featuring classics like Carne Asada, as well as some rarer meats that I won't spoil for you—you'll have to try them for yourself. The menu is extensive, offering Tacos, Quesadillas, Tortas, Mariscos, and daily specials. Their drink selection is also noteworthy, especially the Horchata, which is quite delicious. Overall, I highly recommend stopping by Tacos Choix; don’t miss out on their fantastic meals!

Went on a tuesday, ordered 2 fish and 4 chicken tacos for $13. I don't think you can get better quality for the price. I don't know what it's called, but The hot sauce that came with the fish tacos was awesome, creamy and spicy.

The aguachile was really good. Tacos not so much. Other things our family ordered were also very delicious. I would recommend it.

My wife and I discovered this restaurant through Yelp and decided to give it a try. We’re always on the lookout for great tacos, and we often end up disappointed. However, that wasn’t the case tonight—the dinner was fantastic! The meat had excellent flavor and was high quality without any large chunks of fat. The beans and rice were delicious as well, and my wife particularly enjoyed her avocado crema and green salsa. She mentioned that the avocado crema was really flavorful and that the green salsa had a nice taste without being too spicy. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was friendly and quick. We’ve found our new favorite spot in the High Desert and will definitely return to enjoy more dishes!
