I can't say enough wonderful things about Lindsay their team of Gateaux Cakes and Pastries! Gateaux made the cake for our wedding, but went beyond the cake and helped my husband and I cure a whole dessert table around the flavors in our cake. Lindsay really found her vocation and took part in the creative process with her (and pick her brain for the best flavor combinations! was one of the highlights of our wedding planning process. Also the last painted butter cream flowers on our cake were absolute show-stoppers – our guests said they never saw anything like that, and that ours was the most stunning wedding cake they had ever seen. HUGE kudos to the Gateaux team!

If you are looking for some treats for each event, Gateaux is your company. We worked with Lindsay for our wedding in Hendersonville. My husband and I actually live in FL and Lindsay was able to push us for a quick tasting when we drove through NC a random weekend. Everything was amazing! My husband and I wanted to be a little varied so that we finally order a smaller, 2 tied wedding cake for our bridal party together with cookies, cupcakes Macaroons for the other guests. Our dessert bar was a hit! On the day of our wedding, I just placed all our trays and scratched displays on a table to wait for Lindsay. I couldn't see her because I was ready, but she came to set everything up and organized the dessert bar to look spectacular! Thank you, Lindsay.

Just one of the best decisions of our wedding!! We absolutely loved our wedding cake. I wanted a very colorful bird of paradise flower cakes. Lindsay hit it out of the park with this design. We had a LOT of expensive wedding cake tasting with various vendors in front of Gateaux. After we found Lindsay, I was so relieved and happy that she was incredibly easy to work, friendly, courteous, excited and talented. I sent her photos from our venue, the colors and a few ideas and she ran completely with the theme and made this beautiful design. Not only their cakes beautiful, but they TASTE ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. We went with 2 flavors for the 2 cedars a lemon/bellieder and a tiramisu inspired coffee/cream cheese. And to finish everything, their prices are reasonable.
