Guadalajara - Havre

I usually don't leave reviews, but the 4.1 stars this restaurant has before my review is shocking and convinced us to try it. When we walked in, there was a strong smell of urine throughout the building. Despite that, we decided to stay. The waitress seemed confused when we ordered our drinks correctly pronounced horchata and jarrito. The queso dip was watery velveeta with mushy veggies, but the salsa was surprisingly good. My friend's chicken and cheese quesadilla was okay, while my cheese enchiladas were mushy and barely sauced. The rice was decent, but the beans were flavorless. The waitress had no idea what tomatillo Verde meant when I ordered it, and couldn't remember the hot sauce options. Our meal cost about $40 and was not worth it.

We were served delicious chips and salsa immediately. The margaritas were decent, but not outstanding. We all ordered combo plates, and each dish was generously covered in cheese, red sauce, and delicious tender beef. The chile rellenos were a bit soggy from all the sauce, however. The restaurant was busy, but the staff was very friendly and attentive.

I really enjoyed this restaurant! The Mexican food was fantastic and I had a great time with my friends.

The food was absolutely amazing. The food was out extremely quickly and the service was great. Felt pretty authentic inside.
