At E’s - Havelock North

Nice cafe in havelock, cosy and warm. Staff are friendly and attentive, service was quick and efficient. Coffee was pretty good. Not much to fault but not drastically different to any decent coffee shop.

I 've been here a number of times when visiting SHB for 'coffee and cake ' and have always been impressed with food quality and the coffee. The atmosphere is relaxed with friendly service.

I am surprised at some of the reviews.  I guess every place has its good and bad days.  We have been popping in for breakfast most Saturdays or Sundays for almost one year.  The service has been outstanding and the scrambled eggs and bacon superb.  Coffee aint bad either.  The place is fresh and clean and all of the older staff we have encountered are friendly, polite and positive.  It is only a short hop for us from Napier, and well worth sitting down for brekky prior to a wander round the Farmers Market in Hastings on the way home.

Had a lovely muffin from here, coffee is nice too. Been here a couple of times. I really like the quirky retro feel they are going for : The menu is interesting and varied.

At E's has the best long blacks I have tasted in NZ and as good as the coffee I tasted in Italy. Aaron you are great!Love the casual atmosphere and food too. Friendly staff. Highly recommend you try this place.
