I had the two pieces of cod chips for ukp 12.50, and was served a huge part of cod in the did (one fried cod goes with chips for only ukp 7.10) the teig was crispy, the cod company and fresh. only the chips, as always so often, would have benefited from an additional time in the pan. The drinks include a few lagoons and local aale, including a dark beer. the service is grounded and efficient. certainly regal restaurant is not the place to stay with their friends or family, but for a fast, cheap and decent meal I recommend it all-round.
The food is always excellent at this restaurant, with fresh fish and perfectly cooked chips. The service is friendly and welcoming, and we are regular customers who will definitely be returning. Thank you.
Very nice, friendly, family-run restraunt. Eating was excellent. very tasty, hot, exactly what they want and need. very attentive. many thanks for a beautiful experience.
Wonderful eating, had simply the steak pee and jam roll and custard for afters, all fresh made on the day and absolutely delicious. glad traditional restaurants like these, are still there.
Absolutely wonderful place. The decor and menu is a blast from the past. It's a sheer 80's delight. We all had the cod and chips, each of which was of excellent quality. Perhaps the star of the show though, was the dessert. I chose a banana split, but there were other classics like homemade trifle and artic role. For drinks, the selection includes cinzano and blue nun. I'm so happy we found this place and would recommend it to anyone! Our lovely waitress (also the owner) was also warm and welcoming. This wasn't just a delicious meal, it was a very welcome trip down memory lane. Amazing.
