Southern Hickory Barbecue - Hartselle

Best Bar B Q around! We moved 333 miles away and every time we are back to visit, we keep passing and get vacuum-tight bag BBQ to take home with us because nobody BBQ like Southern Hickory does!!!

I am from Mississippi and I thought we had good bbq until I moved to Alabama and my husband took me here. After 7 years it is still my favorite.i sent a few home to my father with my mother and she said he drank the juice out of the lawn and said it was the best pulled pig he had ever eaten.

I have ordered from this establishment many times.I really enjoy the pulled pork it is very moist and tasty! I love the sauce it is vinegar based, but if you don't like that type of sauce it taste great without. I am not a fan of the coleslaw, but their baked beans are a great substitution.

We picked up BBQ sandwiches for lunch, after church. They were delicious, as always. The staff is friendly and efficient with service with a smile.
