You can find Indian food in the local area instead of traveling far. The prices are a bit higher compared to other Indian grocery stores. The quality of products could be improved, as we found a few expired milk cartons and expired Cocochutneys.
This charming little corner shop is a must-visit for certain kitchen essentials. The lady at the checkout was incredibly friendly and helpful, even when the item I wanted was not in stock. Despite a bit of confusion on my part, she directed me to someone who kindly helped me locate what I needed. The store carries a variety of specialty kitchen ingredients that may be hard to find elsewhere.
This place has high prices for any product you buy. The price of Indian food in this store is very high compared to any Indian food in Hartford. Other goods such as bread, eggs will also be over the regular price at a price of $1.5. Not recommended price wise. I just don't skip here for quick needs. You can get the same better product elsewhere.
I have been looking for a good place to get salads, THIS IS NOT IT. I ordered the Harvest Cobb , which sounded lovely but was incredibly underwhelming. Half of the ingredients were missing, it consisted of romaine lettuce, chicken, some bacon crumbles (like the kind out of a jar) and one egg... and a packet of store bought guac on the side (which is not the same as fresh avocado in the salad). I was not into it and it was NOT worth $8.
