Lakeside Pub Grill - Harrison Township

I decided to give this place another chance because I suspected my first breakfast experience might have been an outlier, especially after seeing the positive reviews and appetizing photos online. I really enjoy the vibe of a neighborhood bar serving breakfast at 7 am on weekends, as my area lacks anything similar. The foreign bartender, who had a charming accent, provided excellent service. The spicy **** Mary is always a delightful addition to my breakfast here. This time, I ordered the lakeside egg burger cooked rare, accompanied by hash browns mixed with onions. The burger was topped with an over-easy egg, which meant that some yolk ran out, adding to the flavor. It was cooked perfectly rare, and the bun was fresh and soft, with both the meat and the buns sourced locally. Today’s breakfast was definitely an improvement over my last visit, making it likely that I’ll return for an occasional breakfast stop.

I've visited this restaurant twice, and both times I've experienced incredibly long wait times for food. It's wing night, and there are hardly any customers, yet I've waited 45 minutes for my wings. The same thing happened during my previous visit. It's just unacceptable. Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice...

The food is great, and the atmosphere is very friendly. They also know some sign language, which made things much easier for me.

Disappointed in their $16.00 fish fry. Not very good. Much better local fish fry's. My review is too short to post so here goes. I really did not like this fish fry which was way over priced!

Second time here. First time service was great and food was 7 10. That was about one year ago. This go around they had a limited menu due to having a chef staff shortage. They usually have some smoked food and bbq options. Ended up with the Buffalo chicken wrap which was really good except they left the food sitting under the warmer for 20 minutes after we had already waited 20 minutes. Then forgot the actual Buffalo sauce. It was very good though. The space is large, clean, and they have a unique counter height bar with stools on one side. The bartender was very friendly. I'll give this joint one last try before I likely won't go back willingly.
