The Bay Cafe and Takeaway

I recently had a writing retreat in Hardwicke Bay and was in need of some healthy food. Luckily, I stumbled upon this restaurant that served amazing fish and chips at an affordable price. The quality of the food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. They also had a great variety of dishes to choose from. I will definitely be returning in the future!

The new owners of the restaurant provide a valuable service to the community. In addition to offering gas, they have revamped the menu to include freshly made snacks, hot meals, seafood, and delicious burgers. My grandchildren were thrilled to find their favorite snacks here. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Visitors to Hardwicke Bay will not be disappointed when they stop by this restaurant, known for its scenic views and popular activities like fishing and swimming.

The young couple who have taken over the store provide a valuable service to the community. Not only is there the convenience of fuel, they have remodelled to accommodate lovers of coffee with freshly made snacks, hot packs, seafood and the compulsory burgers. My grandchildren were very pleased to find their favourite snacks here. All staff are very friendly and accommodating. You won't be disappointed if you stop off here or access the store from the Hardwicke Bay community which is well known for its shacks, fishing and the natural swimming hole, plus a panoramic view of the bay.

I visited the restaurant over the recent long weekend and learned that the hotel has just been sold to new owners. Despite being crowded, the food was excellent and the service was efficient.
