Great American Cookies - Hammond

I'm here three times last month. The first time- great experience and clean. The other two times I came in there were gnats that crawl over the cookies. Perhaps the owner should invest in closed cases for the cookies. I also bought the little bags with ?scrap? Cake diver. When I checked out, I shredded to the counter in the back. Not in any kind of paper or cover... just the mere counter. Even if the counters were cleaned, I would not want my food to be cleaned on a surface of chemicals. My intention is not to blow this place, because two of the three workers I met were super sweet and hard working. My intention is to inform the owner so that quality control can be carried out. That's not acceptable.

I always deal with KATE. She's super professional. In a world of fast pace, it slows down to get the ultra details on orders! She's the reason I get there every time! Wonderful place and person KATE

These people wait until 9:30 in the night before they call and ask a question what's going on the cake! Go to pick up the cake at the scheduled time 12 o'clock and no one is in the store! This is for my daughter's graduation. I'll never order this place again!

So much for starting out 2019 lack luster service at Hammond Louisiana store today we pulled up in the front of the store and let our 17 year old daughter out buy a cookie ? her idea. We watched her through the window as she waited too be served and with 3 employees no body would help her we were just fixing to walk inside to find out WHY anybody will give her service OMG ? this is a joke really. She was the ONLY customer in the store. My daughter got upset and said oh but the way great service and walked out.sadly the cookie store will NOT get our business anymore sadly. It?s a great product but terrible management and poor customer service the employees are not trained. If they shut down I would understand and will not refer business anymore.

Placed an online cake order with confirmation it would be ready at 12pm on the following day. Arrived to pick up my order at 12:30pm and after waiting several minutes to be helped in an empty store, I was informed by the employee that my order was not going to be ready until 2pm. The party that the cake was ordered for was for 1pm. The employee believed my email order confirmation was a mistake and should have said 2pm, not 12pm. Did not offer a refund, did not offer an apology. Will not be coming back to this location.
