The Bedrock Bistro Inc - Hamilton

When I tried to call and request a refund for our next dine-in visit, I was abruptly hung up on. After calling back, I was met with rudeness, and "the boss" claimed that we were lying and that they had no complaints regarding our order. We were even willing to bring the food in to show them, but they stubbornly refused to issue any refund. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this restaurant. It’s a shame to see such poor service and management at a place we've enjoyed visiting for years, especially since we had not encountered these kinds of issues in the past.

I can't comment on the food since we were never seated. The one-star rating is strictly because a group that arrived after us was seated before we were. If they had a reservation, I would understand, but the hostess seemed eager to seat them and even mentioned that everything was full. The atmosphere felt outdated and quite cramped, especially given how busy it looked.

The menu offers a somewhat limited variety for those with specific dietary requirements. However, the portion sizes are generous, making it a great choice for those with big appetites. The Western Sandwich and seafood dishes can really lift the spirits for anyone on a restricted diet. Just be aware that the deep-fried items are cooked in a lot of oil. A useful tip: the grease is mainly in the batter, so you might want to consider choosing the fish instead!

The food used to be fantastic! It was one of my go-to places for breakfast, but something seems to have changed. They've cut down on portion sizes and raised prices, and the quality of the food has taken a noticeable dip. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back. I have fond memories of visiting this place with my family when I was a child, but now it just doesn't feel worth the cost.
