La Trattoria Italiana - Hamburg

Had dinner that consisted of anti-pasta and tagiatella with mushrooms. Soggy vegetables as anti pasta with 2 slices of bake-off bread. Tagiatella was OK but not more than that. Too much cream gave it a fatty taste. Service was quick, but not particularly friendly. If you want to pay for your meal...than you can only use cash. No debit or credit cards are accepted

I have tried quite some Italian restaurants. I ran into this because I was in the neighborhood and the place was well visited already at 18.00h. I was never disappointed. Excellent fresh food and a new menu every day. Enjoy it, but remember, it is local and small and not posh at all.

Good food, same chef but not same staff as last year. No friendly welcome or goodnight. First glass of house wine good size but second one half the size! My husband wished he had stuck to his seafood linguini instead of going for the black heart pasta (served on cold plate). My lasagne was fine as it was in very hot dish. We asked for fig sponge with mascarpone cheese but pretty sure we were served wrong dessert, as was like a hard viennetta type ice cream with bits in! Being English, didn't complain, just paid the bill. Even change came back €1 short! It wasn't the night we were expecting after seeing all the 5 star reviews.

Was the first time here, small and cozy, beautiful, relaxed atmosphere, nice operation, food and drinks taste and from the price ok, will come here more often, have nothing to complain, you can also order and pick up and my review is real, not as the one here writes that positive reviews are not real

Get some food here. A really good Italian restaurant. Pasta is really good and the pizza excellent!!! At the prices: 2x Cola (0,4) 7,80, Mineral water 2,50, Pizza funghi 8,90, Pizza Salami 8,50 and Antipasti misto 7,90 All under 40 EUR.
