Its Saturday night and we had a craving for garlic fingers! Ooey gooey cheesy garlicky ones with bacon. Its not something we order often so we looked online to find the best ones in town and decided on Freemans because of their ad for free delivery and also cheeeeeeeesy garlic fingers. We were amped up to dive into the treat but it was such a disappointment when we opened the box. As you can see from the photo, they were burnt. I couldn 't believe I paid $30 for these. I couldnt believe they sent these out! They also put the sauce in the box after my specific request not to, as we find the heat turns donair sauce runny, yuck. Thick is the only way to have donair sauce. I called and they gladly sent a new one to me which I appreciated! But again, the second one looked the same. Also very much lacking a strong garlic flavor which should be the star component, hence the name. Im not sure if we are tasting burnt cheese or burnt bacon but the overall flavor is highly unimpressive and unsatisfactory. We 're both pretty discouraged with this takeout experience and waste of money. Final thought why would a large pizza of 3 toppings be $21.99, yet I 'm charged extra for bacon when a large garlic finger is also $21.99? I essentially ordered a 1 topping pizza, no? 2 if you count the extra cheese. Anyway.. Sorry Freemans. You won 't be getting any business from us ever again.
Just wanted to give a big shout out to our server, Jack. One of the nicest guys ever, and super attentive to our every need. My wife and kids all commented on how much they enjoyed the meal thanks in large part to Jack! The food was also excellent. One of the best pizzas I've had in awhile, and the wings were excellent too. Top it off with a great, relaxed atmosphere and Freeman's is in the running for our new favorite Saturday supper spot.
Six of us went to breakfast at Freemans on Dutch Village Road. We sat at a large table where we could easily converse, and our food arrived promptly and was delicious. Our waitress, Rachel, was one of the best we've had in a long time. She was very knowledgeable, attentive, and had a great sense of humor. We laughed throughout our meal and wished every restaurant had more servers like Rachel. She was a lot of fun but also provided excellent service. We definitely plan on returning.
Took my son here for his birthday with some other family members. Staff was very attentive and nice. The food was fantastic. We had pizza and some garlic fingers which were so great, even took one home with us.
