88 Rice Shop - Hackensack

Good place, delicious dim sum. Decent amount of space to eat inside. I'm glad that there's another dim sum restaurant around besides 99Ranch and Dim Sum Dynasty!

This is the best dim sum restaurant that delivers to the Jersey City area (we used Uber eats while they were running a promo). It is very difficult to find authentic dim sum in the NJ area, but this restaurant ticks all the boxes authentic dim sum, generous portions, and reasonably priced! We will be be back to try more.

Take out only, no dine-in atm ! In quest of Congee, we stopped at this restaurant. When we arrived, we discovered they serve dim sum items for dinner. We ordered a bunch of items from their menu, shrimp dumplings/shau mai, beef tripe, sticky rice, egg tar, cinnamon seed balls, carrot cake. It took about 15-20 minutes for the order to be ready. When I tasted the items they seemed pretty average to be. Dumplings, shau mai and egg tar were okay. Others to me, were below average. The restaurant sells regular dinner items as well. May be my impression and rating of the restaurant will change when I get to try those.

Dimsum is good! Good portion and flavor is def there. Century egg/pork congee is ok. Too much congee. Take out only. Great place for dimsum for sure!

I couldn't make it out to the city on a Sunday and was seriously craving some dim sum. Luckily we found this 88 Rice Shop and was so happy we did! We placed a large order for delivery and were surprised with how neatly packaged and well prepared everything was. The price point was a bit higher than I had hoped, but that might be due to me ordering off Uber Eats. I'm honestly happy they had a lot of the authentic dishes that a lot of dim sum places don't carry like the tripe or egg yolk bun. The dishes definitely hit the spot, and I'd order from here again, hopefully in person next time!
