Tasty House - Hacienda Heights

This is a legit Shanghai restaurant and I was surprised to learn that this is the original chain store of Tasty Noodle House. Spicy Stinky Tofu: I am happy to report that they use real fried stinky tofu and fry with nice hot sauce. Take a bowl of rice with this plate! Braided pork feet: it was prepared for perfection. Soft but chewing gelatine skin with a good balance of sweet and spicy sauce. Baked seaweed fish fillets: crispy golden brown outside and delicate fish fillets inside. Really a great dish and no complaiy here Shanghai rice cake: many restaurants offer this dish but rarely rice cakes are tasteful, soft and not oily! This is a good dish to judge whether the chefs know his skills.

Four stars. Total. Here numerous times and taste is always really good. A little on the salty side, you just have to say on the salt for the Crispy Fish Fillet dish. They say they don't use MSG or can't ask to add it. It's not sure it's coincidence or I'm just logged out, but I always get the sleepy drowsy effect. I have to try this place again to make sure. Bring it a star if I were lying.
