I highly recommend trying the gyro with double meat at this restaurant. It is absolutely delicious and definitely worth ordering. You won't be disappointed.

The restaurant is unreliable as they often do not answer their phone, leaving customers unsure if they are open or permanently closed.

Nikolai is fantastic! I have been a loyal customer since I was young and I always enjoy their fresh gyros. It's hands down the best food in town, I give it a perfect 10/10 rating.

Last time my group of friends got a combo with poutine and gyro. Like always it was quickly made in front of you, wrapped in the soft and warm pita with fresh salad and grilled gyro meat. The poutine is really the best in Guelph and in a good size. It is home made fries. The owner is very polite and friendly. He followed safety protocol. I highly recommend Macdonell Village. Next time I'll get the potato and cheese perogies.

Has really gone downhill.Pros: great serviceCons: had the fish and chips fish was frozen, thawed in microwave then battered, batter was very chewy/thick (not crispy golden). Mozzarella sticks were good but $7 for 6 small pieces.
