Beautiful coffee shop and very cheap! I really enjoyed my cappuccino.

Oh, my God! The guy knows coffee! The owner is exceptional. His attention to detail with the coffee makes for a perfect cup of EVERY time. The cleanliness and friendliness of the company is not perfect. I spent time in Australia and New Zealand and had their infamous Flat Whites, and still Chapter One slams it on what an amazing flat white should be. Fantastic environment. For locals and tourists alike. Go on!!!!

Beautiful café at the end of the Malecon, overlooking the waterfront. On the ground floor of the modern and upscale The Point development. Great coffee and good cake choice. Interior and exterior seats.

I'm here on a business layover and wanted to try the best local coffee shops. Based solely on my one visit today, Chapter One is a trendy example of what a great java joint should not be. Indifferent staff on the verge of rude simply isn't acceptable, especially when the cappuccino tasted slightly burned. I was excited that a shop with top scores was right next to my hotel, and I really wanted to like Chapter One. The best part of the experience was the location right on the river. Maybe today was a fluke in an otherwise quality place. Maybe not.
