Le Duo des Plaisirs - Grenoble

Looking for a bit of food and not wanting Chinese, Indian or Pizza we saw this little pub. Situated on a back street under the train line we didn't expect much. It was a lovely evening and we got a table outside. A lovely lady took our order and we asked if there was any food available, she said she would ask the cook as it was a little late for dinner. On her return she said a plate of mixed antipasti was all that was possible. We agreed that was great so had an ice cold Belgium beer while we waited. What a surprise when we received a beautiful platter of gorgeous nibbles. We stayed for a few more beers and was given some watermelon as well. A lovely friendly place and to top it off when I went to pay was told the food was free! If you're ever in Grenoble look out for here , in my experience you can't go wrong. Just in front of the estacade market, so nothing to say about the freshness of the food! very pleasant reception, the service is in small care and in bonus the visit of the Chef.An address to be recommended for both the content of the plate (inventivity and agreement of flavors) and for the presentation.

A family atmosphere, a very good cuisine at a very correct price; A good address we'll come back!
