The Mason Jar - Greer

The food looked good, but was reasonably bland. We were there before the dinner rush got too heavy, but both my wife and I had trouble getting attention to our table. A really easy standard for me is if our drinks are empty for any period of time. Both of us separately experienced more than 10 minutes without drinks.

Definitely a dive bar/hole in the wall vibe but the food service were excellent. Our waitress and the bartender were very friendly and checked on us regularly. We got the Barrata salad and the Southwestern egg rolls. Lots of moonshine drinks available. The salad looked like artwork. Sliced tomatoes with fresh mozzarella cheese, drizzled with balsamic glaze and olive oil. The egg rolls were crispy and flavorful. Loved the Prickly Sombrero margarita. Highly recommended.

Awesome spot Try the glazed salmon (excellent flavors seasoning! I cannot give enough praise to the buffalo blue cheese burger..... try it, you'll be hooked! This restaurant its staff are fantastic, if you haven't experienced, definitely make it your next meal out, you will not be disappointed!!

I have visited the Mason Jar a few times, sampling their food and drink offerings. This is an inviting, friendly and well-run establishment. The food is thoughtfully prepared. You will be happily surprised with the appearance and flavor of their entrees. Their salads are playfully served in a Mason jar, and their bugers are bursting with juicy deliciousness. The bartenders are very adept and professional. The care and knowledge is apparent, and their drink delivery mirrors the deliberate thoughts of the menu items. Friday night karaoke provides an exceptional mix of great talent, with an openness to singers of all (or no) skill levels. The combination of friendly and inviting staff, delicious menu options, experienced bartenders, and great atmosphere makes the Mason Jar a 'must-see ' for any trip to Greer.

I've been here twice and it has excellent food and great service. The first time I had the brunch which was like a type of french toast with sausage and egg and it was very good. Second time I had the burger which was good... Not necessarily great. I'll definitely be going back.
